In therapy, we will practice expressing curiosity and compassion toward all of you, including the parts that might be labeled the “problem.” Internal Family Systems (IFS) holds the belief that all parts are welcome. We won't fix, get rid of, or force change upon any parts of you; instead, we'll shed light on the adaptive function of these parts in order to bring lasting healing.

My therapeutic approach centers the mind-body as one interconnected system. In addition to IFS, I utilize a variety of modalities including Somatic Experiencing (SE), ACT, DBT, CBT, and Mindful Self Compassion. Although I believe you hold all that you need to heal already inside of you, I recognize the critical role of providing psychoeducation, somatic techniques, therapeutic worksheets & tools, and community resources.

• I work with teens 12+ and adults of all ages.

• Therapy can be done virtually or in-person at my office in Edgewater.

• Typical sessions are 50-55 minutes. Longer, customizable sessions are available.

• I am in-network with Aetna and BCBS PPO.

• For private pay, rates are $175 per 60-min session; $200 for intake sessions. Sliding scale is available.

Group therapy is an excellent way to heal in community. As a group facilitator, I aim to set a container for emotional processing and create opportunities for each person to be seen and heard. Groups will include psychoeducation, therapeutic tools & worksheets, community resources, therapeutic guidance, and most importantly, peer support & resonance.

• Group therapy is offered in-person or virtually.

• The group is limited to 10 participants.

• Sessions are 50-55 minutes.

• Rates are $25 per group therapy session. Sliding scale is available.
